Welcome to the SpiritWars® Tournament Center!

SpiritWars®  tournaments are held three times a week:  Monday,  Thursday and Saturday at 6:00pm PST/9:00pm EST.

(The tournament schedule can change, depending on holidays and availability of tournament hosts, so please do check the weekly schedule.)

• There are some basic rules that apply to all tournaments hosted by Kellogg Creek.  The Member's tournament format and rules can be found  below.

Tournament Rules

• - There are no membership requirements or fees to participate in Open or New
  Player Tournaments.  The only requirement for participation in Open
  Tournaments is a willingness to engage in competitive - but friendly -
  competition and to conduct yourself in an honorable fashion.
  - Any player who acts in a dishonorable or disrespectful manner may be
  excluded from future tournaments, at the discretion of the Tournament
  Director. Participation on SpiritWars tournament is a privilege, not a
  right, and we reserve the right to exclude players who have acted in a
  less-than-honorable manner in the past.
  - All players will remain courteous and civil towards each other and the
  tournament director throughout the course of the event.  Any dispute or
  disagreement will be settled by the Tournament Director and any such
  decisions made during a tournament are final and not subject to appeal.
  
  The same basic rule applies to the New Players Tournament but the you must
  pass these four tests to qualify for a New Players Tournament:
       1)  Never previously have won a regular SpiritWars® Tournament,
       2)  Not be a Moderator or Helper,
       3)  Not ever have held an account on the member version of SpiritWars®
       4)  Not have won more than 1 New Player Tourney
       5)  Not have played on free for more than 4 months
  
  - All players are allowed to play non tournament games in the Tournament
  room, using the particular Tournament Rule Set selected for the night.
  - Bracket assignments will be posted  approximately 5 minutes prior to start
  time. See the links below, listed by day, for each tournament.
  -We will attempt to allow all games to play to completion, but a -1 hour time limit- will be enforced at the Tournament Hosts discretion.  If it is not clear that one player had an advantage over the other, the host may, at his/her discretion, flip a coin to decide who advances, if one of the players is not willing to concede.
  - If either player acts in an unsportsmanlike manner during the process of trying to determine a winner, they WILL BE automatically disqualified from the tournament
  -In the event of a disconnect by a player, that player will forfeit the match unless his opponent agrees to a replay.  At the hosts discretion,  games disconnected after turn 5 may not be allowed to replay. (This is necessary to keep the tournament moving.)
  -All outcomes will be reported to the tournament director by BOTH players, and subsequently posted in the bracket web page for that tournament.
  -Prizes will be offered for any Open tournament with 16 or more players. New Players tournaments qualify for a prize (a 30 day trial subscription to the member version of SpiritWars®) with only 8 players present.
  -The Tournament Director will inform the winner of the current prize options. If a player (or any member of his family or household)  has won a tournament within the past 60 days, he/she receives nothing but recognition as a prize  :). 
  - New Player tournament winners may only win 1 trial subscription and are no longer eligible for New Players tournaments after winning 2 tournaments.
